National Day to Give Thanks

Gratitude and humility are like oxygen and water for me. I’m grateful I live in a nation that takes a time out on the fourth Thursday of November to give thanks, and there is always so much to be thankful for. There are wars and rumors of wars–there is the creeping encroachment of our culture of “more” as stores creep into Thanksgiving with their Black Friday sales to beat the competition. But however imperfectly we celebrate Thanksgiving, we do take a national day to give thanks. So I prayer a prayer of thanksgiving for all of you. Rich
