NO WORSHIP SERVICE ON OCTOBER 24th

WHERE ARE YOU HEADED ON OCTOBER 24TH??

This Sunday morning, St. Andrew is cancelling our morning worship service to go out and become Christ’s hands and feet in Sonoma Valley through Faith in Action – “Don’t Go to Church, Be the Church”.

That evening, we’ll join together for a Fellowship Dinner to celebrate ALL that we do as a congregation throughout the year. Even if you can’t make it for a service project, PLEASE join us for dinner – ALL of us made a difference this last year and we want to celebrate everyone’s contribution!

HERE’S THE SCHEDULE:

9:00am -1:00pm – Meet your team at your service location and work together to complete your project. (Childcare will be available at St. Andrew).

5:00pm – Join us at St. Andrew for a Celebration Dinner to celebrate all we do throughout the year for our community – globally and locally!

If you are not signed up for a project and would like to be, please contact Stacey Schoeningh via the church office at [email protected]

A SPECIAL INVITATION FROM THE PRESBYTERY

A Conversation with Dr. Kenneth Hardy
“The Tasks of the Oppressed” on Sat. October 23rd @ 2pm

We are called to engage in anti-racist practices that Dismantle Structural Racism and White Supremacy. The Presbytery of San Francisco has chosen to do this work, and forge ahead to fully engage in this struggle—for healing, transformation, justice, and racial equity.

Last year, our conversation with Dr. Kenneth Hardy was to learn “How To Be An Ally”. (See the recording HERE). This second engagement is to understand the next steps, particularly around understanding what it takes for those who are oppressed to engage daily in this struggle for justice and transformation. We hope you can join us.
