Drama

Drama Team

St. Andrew finds that the gospel message is often beautifully expressed through the dramatic arts. We use both purchased and original scripts to bring illumination to the message brought by the preacher in worship.

  • There is room on the Drama Team for persons of all ages and with all levels of ability and experience. While previous experience is wonderful, more important is the willingness to risk and to learn.
  • The head of the Drama Team is responsible for the selection of scripts, the appointment of directors and often, the selection of the actors for a particular script.

Our drama ministry seeks to engage people in looking for the answers God has provided to their questions and needs in life. We believe that good drama can be an effective tool for getting people to focus on the crucial issues in life, portraying common issues and struggles with power and immediacy. Our drama team consists of dedicated actors and directors. We use scripts from outside sources and sometimes write our own.

If you have any interest in participating on the Drama Team, or your interests are more “behind the scenes”, we always need Stage Crew and Sound Technicians to help with the worship service.
