Parents: Who’s To Blame?

Dear Parent,

Announcing a New Blog Series…
The Culture of our Home!

This series will examine the culture of our homes… …not something we think about a lot…  …but something that can be causing a great deal of the frustration with our pre-teens and teens.  Far to often the culture of our home just develops over time.  The series begins with Who’s to Blame? Instead of pointing fingers at each other, let’s look at the culture of our homes together!

If you have any questions about the content in the blog or about having your church host a Secrets of Influential Parenting Seminar please e-mail me and I will respond!

Blessings,

Check out Who’s To Blame? right now…

Who is to blame for the challenges in our homes and with our kids? Is it their fault; is it our fault; or is it simply the way the world is today? What if there was another culprit… …one we have not even considered! As I am working with parents I find many parents frustrated with their kids, especially pre-teens and teens. Even though parents may be frustrated, they are ok with the lack of communication and tension because they have been told that this is (read more)

“The ideas and totally new approaches Jeff presented at this conference were so different from everything I ‘learned’ in the past. His method of partnering with our children, and the strong communication tips that Jeff provided in this conference, have been so enlightening.  Though I have college-age youth,  I’ve learned it’s not too late to become a more effective parent.”   Chris Pena

“I have an 18 year old stepson and a 3 year old son. While the 3 year old is a few years away from using this material, having it now gives me time to focus on building the foundation of trust and transparency for the relationship of sheep/shepherd.  If I am to influence my child to live life with certain qualities, I need to make sure my life reflects those qualities also. ” — Dawn Mitchell

“I absolutely loved the presentation.  I like the way Jeff uses his own family to make it relative to us…actually would love more on the teaching finances.  I felt it was so good, I’m trying to figure a way to pass on to my two kids/grandkids.  I did buy a book for each and may take a look at the new DVD due out this month.  Thanks again.  It was enlightening and I wish I would have had it when my kids were growing up although both have turned out to be wonderful and super great parents. Thanks so much.”  bjparker (Joyce Parker)
