Scholarship Applications for Fall 2008 – due August 15th, 2008

Due to the generosity of Ralph Bergen and Hazel Burnett, scholarship opportunities are available for full time college students who qualify.

The Bergen Scholarship Fund has been established for full-time college freshmen and sophomores.

Recipients requesting continued support for Fall 2008 must submit the following by August 15th, 2008:

• A letter of interest
• A current official college transcript
• Proof of current college enrollment (a copy of tuition receipt or copy of official class schedule)

To All Scholarship Candidates:

Financial need is not a consideration. The amount and number of awards is at the discretion of the Commission and will be determined by the number of applicants and the amount of earnings derived from the fund each year.

Applications and information are also available in the church office. All applications or requests for continuing support for the Fall 2008 semester must be in the hands of the Commission by the August 15th, 2008 deadline.

The Scholarship Commission (Julie Fehrnstrom, Scott Walthard, Joyce Parker, and Rich Gantenbein Ex-Officio) is pleased to announce the Hazel Burnett Scholarship and Ralph Bergen Scholarship recipients:
