GIVING

Thank you for your interest in supporting the ministry of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church. The generosity of everyday people in our church family makes our ministries and operations possible, and changes lives among our local St. Andrew community and our global partners.

Ways to give:

St. Andrew is a registered 501(c) (3) non-profit organization.

Our Federal Tax ID is 51-0158108.

It's Easy to Give Online!

We offer two options for electronic giving. You can make your donation online via this website, or by text with your smartphone. Through these methods, you can make a one–time contribution or set up a recurring donation. These can be set up as a deduction from your checking or savings account, or as a charge to your debit or credit card account. We believe you will find it to be a tool that will streamline your giving and allow for simple tracking of your donations throughout the year.

Electronic giving benefits the donor and the work of St. Andrew. Much like online banking, online giving enables church members to easily track their gifts as an element of their household finances.

Give by Mail

Send a check to:

St. Andrew Presbyterian Church

16290 Arnold Dr.

Sonoma, CA 95476

Please be sure to write in the memo line of your checks the purpose of your donations:  General Fund (Tithe), Solar Capital Campaign, Missions, Deacons, Caravan, Flowers, etc.

Give from your IRA

If you are 70 ½ or over and taking withdrawals from your IRA, donating as a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) can reduce your taxable income. In addition to the benefits of giving to St. Andrew, a QCD excludes the amount donated from taxable income, unlike regular IRA withdrawals, and you don't owe any taxes on the QCD. Also, QCDs don't require that you itemize deductions. QCDs do count toward your required minimum distribution (RMD) for the year. One thing to remember is that QCD donations must be made directly from your IRA to St. Andrew. Contact your IRA’s custodian if you are unsure how to make a direct payment. For more information check with your tax advisor or visit this page from the IRS.

Donate Assets

Giving can also be done through a gift of stock, a distribution from a retirement account, or by adding St. Andrew Presbyterian Church of Sonoma to a will. For assistance with these types of donations, please contact the church office at 707-996-6024.
